The Zanjan Chamber is the largest private-sector association in the province.
The Council for Dialogue between the Government and the Private Sector has been active since 2010 (1389 SH) as a statutory, cross-branch institution designed to establish direct communication between the state and economic actors within the country’s private and cooperative sectors. Following the enactment of the Fifth Five-Year Development Plan of the Islamic Republic of Iran—and pursuant to Article 75 thereof—the Council for Dialogue was established to facilitate the exchange of views between the government and the private and cooperative sectors. Its mandate includes facilitating the economic activities of these sectors, identifying and removing barriers to business, making effective decisions regarding necessary actions (within the framework of existing laws and regulations), and submitting appropriate proposals and actionable solutions to the relevant authorities.
